Our starches for non-food industries focus on the paper and corrugated cardboard industries, as well as the chemical sector.

Our Application & Development Centre for Industrial Starches, located in Krefeld, Germany is a unique resource for our customers. Our researchers bridge the gap between research and market realities to help our customers with innovative solutions.

Paper manufacturing

Cargill has a strong commitment to the paper industry, with more than 100 professionals actively serving this market across the globe.

We offer a range of starches made from corn, wheat or potato. We also offer modified and cationic starches for treating pulp, for spray applications, surface treatments and coating with pigments.

Corrugated cardboard

Cargill has developed a range of versatile and economic products that comply with the requirements of the corrugated cardboard, paper laminate, spiral tube manufacturing, paper bags and adhesive paper industries.

We supply top quality, ready-to-use starches as well as an extensive range of modified starches and mixtures appropriate for all market requirements.

Chemical Industry

The chemical industry covers a wide range of products and specialties, many of which include starch derivatives as basic ingredients as well as interim process products.
